Sound Works Studios Terms and Conditions

Reserving Studio Time
Reservation of studio time will be confirmed upon receipt of Purchase Order (PO), or a deposit equal to one-half of the estimated studio charges for the project. Studio A has a minimum booking of 2 hours. Minimum booking for mixing, mastering or editing is 1 hr.  Billing of studio time begins at the exact time booked, regardless of late arrival. Overtime (if available) is at the same hourly rate.

Cancellations
Cancellation or rescheduling of block bookings and lockout time must occur at least 5 (five) days in advance of the first session start time or client will be charged 50% of the scheduled time. All other studio time must be cancelled 24 hours in advance of the session start time or client will be charged for time booked. Sound Works Studio has the right to retain all deposits if studio time is not cancelled within the timeframe stated above. Studio time that is “On Hold” will only be held for 48 hours.

Sound Works will also charge clients for all expenses incurred in preparation for session prior to receipt of notice of cancellation. Payment for rentals will be the client’s responsibility. Upon request, free studio time (30 minutes max) will be allowed for load-in.

Project Storage
Projects may be stored by Sound Works for a period of 30 (thirty) days after completion of project. Client must remove project from studio within 3 days after this period or pay storage fees. Shipping charges are billed at cost, plus a nominal fee for packing. All tapes left on property will be the responsibility of the client

Payment
Sound Works Studio accepts cash, cashier’s checks, wire transfers, money orders, Pay Pal and approved checks as forms of payment. A valid driver’s license will be required for all payment transactions. Unless a PO has been issued, payment is due upon completion of each session unless prior arrangements have been made. No project in any form will be released without payment in full.
